“Maria King and the rest of staff are absolutely amazing! I moved to California towards the end of my pregnancy and knew that I wanted to be seen by a midwife. When I found Maria online I saw she worked out of a birth center-which I wasn’t sure about at first. I called and set up a tour and was blow away with how intimate their setting is, how clean their center is, and how friendly their staff is.
Maria and staff love to get to know their patients. Maria has multiple student midwives that work under her that are truly amazing as well. I ended up having a home birth due to labor progressing very quickly and Maria was there to save the day! That showed me how dedicated she is to me as her patient. Maria is also a lactation consultant and has worked closely with me trying to support me and breastfeeding my baby. Highly recommend!"

“CNM Maria King is the BEST. Days after my 2nd child was born he was hospitalized for severe jaundice. Several pediatricians and nurses couldn't explain why even though I had a strong milk supply. Maria examined me and my baby and pointed out his severe tongue and lip tie and explained why my baby couldn't latch properly. Not a single doctor bothered to look for this. She revised his tongue tie that day, gave us a TON of information and instructions to take home. She helped us go from exclusively pumping for our lbaby that lost weight and was hospitalized for jaundice, to exclusively nursing our baby who shot up to the 98th percentile in weight and was thriving in every way. She's professional, thorough, SO knowledgeable, caring, genuine, and you can tell she loves what she does. We are forever grateful for her and would recommend her to EVERYONE!”

“Maria is an absolute godsend for women who don't want a hospital birth and can't have a home birth (usually due to insurance reasons). The midwives treat each woman as if she were their only client with the unique one on one personal service every woman deserves. I am a doula and have the privilege of working with several clients together with the midwives at this amazing facility. I am welcome as part of the team. Any woman is fortunate to be under the care of such wonderful women there. They offer so much more than prenatal and birth services. They offer well women care, classes to help new parents on their journey and if necessary tongue tie revision under the care of a Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant! I cannot say enough good things about Birth Your Way. If you are looking for an alternate birth, please contact them for a tour. You will be amazed!”

"Words can't express how grateful I am for Maria and how highly I think of her. I have the privilege of working with her at the hospital where I learned of how caring, knowledgeable, & passionate she is about her work. My daughter was born with a lip and tongue tie. Gradually breastfeeding became very difficult. I made an appointment with her for lacatation and she identified the problem, she listened to all my concerns and offered to clip her tongue tie right then which we did. She was so gentle and quick. After the appointment she followed up with me to see how my daughter was doing. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. I trust and respect her with my precious baby. Her staff was also so helpful and friendly. They make you feel welcomed and at home. Her clinic is beautiful and if giving birth there was an option for us we would have done so in a heartbeat!"

"Maria King was my first midwife experience with my second child, and the birth of my son at the birth center exceeded all of my expectations. Natural child birth is never easy, but her and her staff helped empower me to give birth without fear! After having a natural hospital birth with my first son and the birth center birth with my second, I could never imagine trying to have a baby in the hospital again. Maria is so personal and caring that you feel like you are getting that old fashioned care as a patient where the practitioner knew you personally and you were not just a number. "We were so, so happy with our experience. We went to see Maria early in my pregnancy as we were considering birthing options. She spent a lot of time with us and answered any questions we had. Her experience and knowledge sold us and we were under her care for the remainder of my pregnancy. Our appointments were very thorough and she spent an hour with us at each visit. She provided a ton of education during each appointment as well as breast feeding and infant care classes. Maria also identified a tongue and lip tie when our baby was 2 days old and we were struggling to breastfeed. We were able to get them corrected the same day and now feeding is going well.

"If you're looking for a OB/GYN look no further. Maria King is one of the best I've seen. I took my 17 year old daughter to see her when she was in Yucaipa, in Feb 2016. She was so kind and took time to discuss womens health and birth control. Keri is now 18 and we just saw Maria again in her new digs in San Bernardino. Such a wonderful calming place to be. I plan to switch my GYN needs over to her. I really like how it's so warm and comfy and not your typical doctor's office/hospital environment. You feel like part of the family. Highly recommend. "

"My daughter was born tongue tied. I was referred by the hospital to Maria. She did a fantastic job! She answered all of our questions, did a complete evaluation of my daughter's mouth before making the recommendation to repair my daughter's tongue. I was very impressed with how thorough she was. Maria was gentle with our baby, and was very quick with the procedure. She even showed us exercises to do with our baby girl to help prevent the tie from growing back, sucking exercises to teach our baby to use her tongue properly, and even followed up with us and our baby. I highly recommend Maria and TNBP!"

"I highly recommend Maria King as your midwife. At the natural birth place I received personalized care in a friendly environment. Maria is exceptionally knowledgeable about the birth process, her in-depth knowledge alleviated any concern I had prior to delivering my twin girls. "Love this place! I recently had my baby here on December 14th and what an amazing experience! I had a waterbirth and it was awesome! Maria was my midwife and I just love her and the staff! The environment was so warm and welcoming. They make you feel right at home! I had a hospital birth with my first and if I had to choose between the 2 I would pick to have my next baby here hands down. I wish I could of had my first one here as well my experience was so wonderful! Thank you guys again for such an wonderful birth experience I would recommend you all to everyone."
